Matthew played a role in a compact team of designers and freelancers at CBS Interactive, tasked as a designer developing the User Experience and Visual Design for the acclaimed CBS Entertainment app. The project's goal was to create an immersive platform for CBS show enthusiasts, enabling them to watch full episodes and engage socially with fellow fans. A key feature of the app was its ability to sync with live television, offering an interactive experience by providing real-time, behind-the-scenes insights and trivia.
Matthew's involvement was on ui and ux design throughout the project. He provided mentorship to freelancers joining the team, contributing significantly to various creative phases including brainstorming, wireframing, color schemes, and icon design. His exceptional attention to detail was instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality control, ensuring the app's interface was not only user-friendly but also aesthetically pleasing and pixel-perfect, especially with the enhanced high-density resolution of the iPhone 5.
